Web design refers to the skill and/or knowledge of creating a presentation via the internet that is delivered to an end-user. More specifically, in entails the coding of websites, using hypertext and/or hypermedia, and the use of graphics and multimedia outlets to improve or enhance the functionality and/or appearance of a web site. Aside from the basic appearance and functionality, web design also deals with the technical aspect of creating a web site, which employs various types of disciplines such as graphic design, marketing, communication design, and animation in order to create the desired interface to relate a particular service or information to people.
